Town Resolutions
An important goal of the Vermont 250th Anniversary Commission connecting Vermonters in our 252 villages, towns, and cities for this Semiquincentennial commemoration. By adopting a resolution, your community would be linked with others within our State as well as Heritage and Regional partners. At the time of the American Revolution, Vermont was not one of the thirteen colonies and the borders were not defined. The Vermont 250th Anniversary Commission seeks to erase borders and boundaries to ensure remembrance, commemoration, education, and sharing as we explore our past, present, and future together. In this way, all communities can amplify their efforts to commemorate Vermont 250th anniversary through programs, projects, and events that will inspire future leaders and recall Vermonters' contributions to our nation over the past 250 years.
